Internal Environment

Security

Burglar-proof: Class 3 The Burglar-proof class is the set of European standards designed to identify the security level of reinforced doors. It describes the set of tests, times, methods and tools that the door must resist.
13 closing locking points Points where pistons block the door to the frame.
Mortise cylinder protector with anti-lock-picking system  Anti-drill steel Defender mounted on the outside of the door to protect the lock and the cylinder
Lock with bolt blocking in the event of the cylinder being forcibly removed Lock turns on bolt blocking system, when someone tries to tear off defender and to break cylinder. The door has to be closed with all turns of key, in this case.
5 anti-lock-picking nibs Placed on the hinge side of each mobile door, they are cone-shaped and installed to resist to cuts. When the door is closed, they are inserted in the relevant housing in the frame.
42 mm thick secure stratified double glazing Type of high resistance glass certified according to the standard UNI EN 365 with resistance P6B obligatory in order to obtain class 3 burglar-proof and to guarantee high thermal and acustic performance.

Technical

Gear lock Gear lock guarantees lower noisiness than lever one. It is more manually soft and extend the life of security cylinder thanks to friction reduction.
Traditional-type hinges with opening to 180° This hinge is visible from the internal side, it can be adjusted along the two axes and it features a hinge cover matching with the colour of handles.
Wooden internal panel holder corner piece Finishing element of internal panel of reinforced door made of the same wood and finish of the panel.
Self-levelling sound-proofing draught The automatic Drop sill (= soglia mobile) moves towards the floor whenever the door is closed and not only considerably reduces draughts, but also shuts out bothersome shafts of light. The type of drop sill that is installed depends on the level of noise reduction required and in the case of external doors, on CE level required.
Double seal on door Sealing gasket made from coextruded material with a stiff support that is mounted along the door stop perimeter onto the frame. Always available in the external door stop, it is also available in the internal door stop of the most performing reinforced doors.

Performance

Thermal Trasmittance: up to 1,40 W/m²K Value concerning the protection from heat and cold, obtained by inserting solid insulating material into the doors of the reinforced door.
Noise Proofing: up to 40 db It is the hightest level of sound proof that Metalnova’s reinforced doors can reach.
